So this is my first music review. Honestly I'm not sure why I haven't done one before. I am definitely a music person, listening to something all the time because I pretty much start freaking out if things are too quiet! I was drawn to this CD for two reason, the first just being a sample I heard and loving Stephanie's voice and the second being I am always looking for great music for my young children to listen to. They are always dancing around and blaring one song or another, most of which typically turn out to be so inappropriate for kids if we're honest about it. It's really hard to find an artist that doesn't sing about something that makes me cringe if little ears are listening...or WORSE...singing along. (Awkward).
I really love this CD. The songs hit is all, some are danceable, others relaxing, and some that just keep a smile on your face. The added bonus is the thoughtful meaning and inspiration in the words. I love having something I can play in the car that I enjoy JUST as much as the kids and can relax knowing they won't be learning any words or phrases that will be totally humiliating for them to repeat in public.
Check out the videos below and judge for yourself. But if you're love a fantastic voice, blends of harmony, and uplifting lyrics you will truly appreciate and enjoy Stephanie Boyd.
